The Hospital’s Music Society is open to all staff and students.
It welcomes singers and musicians of all standards, and runs a choir
and orchestra which rehearse on Monday evenings in St. Thomas’s
House.
The Music Society puts on two concerts a year, with the Christmas concert
usually being held at Southwark Cathedral, and past programmes have
included Faure’s Requiem and Dvorak’s 9th Symphony.
The social side of the society is also booming, with plans for tours
and an annual dinner in Governor’s Hall at St Thomas'. |
